ABOUT US
The European Chapter the House of Saint Laurent started in 2012, formerly known as the House of Melody, the first German Ballroom House. Since 2019 the House has transformed and joined forces with the Iconic House of Saint Laurent, founded in New York in 1982. Representing the European Chapter came to life through the Iconic Godfather Vjuan Allure Saint Laurent, who passed away in March 2021. Outside of Germany and the founding American Chapter, the House of Saint Laurent has active members in Mexico, Brazil, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, France and Korea.
Outside of competing in Ballroom, the House focuses on curating events that celebrate the social essence of the culture, especially concerning minorities and issues like intolerance, racism, transphobia, homophobia, and sexism. As performing artists, the collective has successfully worked internationally since 2012, showcasing diverse talents in dance, choreography and performance art, including each member's versatility and individual talents.
